My service to couples:
I prefer to meet my couples in person and get to know them so that I am able to identify and discuss their special needs in their wedding ceremonies so that I could consult, develop, design and deliver a “meaningful” ceremony in accordance with their wishes and desires.
My initial consultations will include the following:
- Getting to know the couple
- Completing and lodging of the Notice of Intended of Marriage and or registering of all relevant statutory documentations
- Initial stage of getting the draft wedding ceremony organised.
- Please note: You and your partner will be given a free booklet containing of sample wedding ceremonies, vows and poems.
My second meeting l consultations will include the following:
- Completing and lodging of the Form – 14 and or registering of all relevant statutory documentations
- Pre-ceremony rehearsal
- Finalisation if the wedding ceremony draft
- Confirmation of wedding ceremony plans
My final meeting will include the following:
- Arriving at the couple’s selected wedding venue at least 40 minutes prior to the ceremony start-time to set up and liaise with appropriate delegates
- Meeting up with the groom and finalising the wedding scene according to our plans and reassuring the groom and supporting all parties concerned with the wedding ceremony plans
- Conducting the wedding ceremony and signing all relevant documentation
- Official introduction of the couple and presentation of the wedding certificates
Additional tasks that will be done – behind the scene are:
Pre-ceremony follow-up calls visits and or emails regarding the ceremony and liaising with Government departments such as department of Immigration, Births, Deaths and Marriages.
- preparing ceremonial certificates
- travelling to the venue and conducting the ceremony
- arriving at the venue at least 40 minutes prior to the ceremony start-time to set up and liaise (as required)
- preparation and posting of the “Marriage Momentum” booklet along with the seeking post-ceremony feedback
All my ceremonies are prepared to suit individual couple’s special needs and personal requirements. During the ceremony, the couple will also receive a “wedding blessing” prepared by me.
Types of rituals and ceremonies that have been included in my wedding ceremonies are:
- culturally suitable garland exchanges by the wedding couple
- Candle lighting
- Release of butterflies
- Sprinkle of rose petals
- Wedding blessings received by elders of both parties
- Breaking of porcelain plates
- Exchange of roses
- Presenting the bride with a family heirloom
- Sand ceremony
- Water & Flower ceremony
